{Inspiration} Madelyn's 4th Birthday Party Board

I have been hard at work planning my daughter's 4th birthday party. I have such wonderful customers, and I've been privileged to work with some of the best event planners out there (Amy Atlas, where have you been?! hehe). But, to the detriment of my already crazy schedule, I have caught the event planning bug. So in between orders, emails, and more emails, I've been gathering ideas and shopping for the perfect supplies for Madelyn's birthday. This year she really wants to have a "Ni Hao, Kai Lan" party, and I have to admit I'm a little over the full-blown character parties. But this is really a great theme--a chinese party is going to be really awesome! We're sticking to the paper lanterns, bright rainbow colors, lotus flowers, and other decorations, and I'll throw in some Kai Lan cupcakes (of course) and dessert plates to appease my daughter. Hopefully she won't care too much. I thought I would share my very first (yay!) inspiration board, and I'm sure I'll have many more photos to share as the party gets closer! Enjoy!
