{Giveaway} So close to 1000 Etsy Orders--Time for a Giveaway!!

Wow, it has already been a busy week around here! If you haven't seen it yet, get a copy of the October 2010 issue of Parents magazine! I am ecstatic to say that my cupcake toppers are featured (on page 224. go there. now.)! I was contacted by the food editors much earlier in the summer to send some toppers up to NYC and they loved them--so I sent more for a photo shoot. And here I was thinking they were going to feature one design--they chose seven for the one picture! Thanks, Parents. You rock.

So, time for a flashback to September 29, 2009. I'm sitting in my kitchen, brainstorming ideas for my daughter's birthday cake. The thought crosses my mind that it would be really cool to take boring cupcakes and make them look expensive, detailed, and gorgeous just like a custom fondant covered cake. I started browsing online for what I was thinking about...and came up with...well, not much. I couldn't find anyone really doing what I wanted my Etsy shop to be. I quickly moved to the other side of the kitchen, pulled out my fondant, and got to work. By the end of the day, I had my first listing at Two Sugar Babies.

Here we are, nearly a year later. And my Etsy shop has 999 sales! I can't believe it. I have such wonderful customers, and I have been lucky to assist with some really awesome birthday parties, baby and bridal showers and other events. As a little "thank you" and pretty much because I'm just so excited to reach my 1000th sale, I'm hosting a giveaway! What a perfect excuse to throw a party!
