When I am designing new collections, it is generally much harder for me than saying "What cartoon characters are popular right now?" Although that those thoughts cross my mind, I like to look for inspiration in my surroundings and interests. That is because I like to think that a lot of you are looking toward modern themes, patterns, and colors when planning a party. One of my most recent *favorites* is the chevron (zig zag) pattern. I really can't get enough of it! From fashion to party goods and displays, chevron is popping up everywhere. And if I can't get enough of something, you'll probably see it in my new fondant decorations (i.e. the chevron brownie topper below). What patterns or colors are you obsessing over right now?
