{Parties} this "UP" party is amazing.

Last week I had one of my favorite orders to date: decorations for an "UP" themed cake. I worked on a replica of the house with the balloons, Dug (the dog), and Kevin (the bird). "UP" is by far one of my favorite Disney movies (well, the first 10 minutes makes the movie for me) and I was really excited to see the cake all put together. But when I saw these pictures of the party, I almost fell off of my chair! This is seriously one of the coolest parties I've seen. And Wendy, the designer, isn't even technically a professional! I am amazed. Wendy, congratulations on such a wonderful design and amazing pictures! I can not wait to see more from you!

The cake!!! I love how it came together. It's so hard sometimes sending pieces that have to be assembled because you can't really visualize how it's going to turn out. I'm happy I had a creative person to rely on! Photo credit: www.wendyupdegraff.com

  4. i know, i still can't get over what a freaking awesome job wendy did!!!

paper and food--the balloons i did with some little cutter i found in my stash. i just did like 3 million of them. i'm not sure how they were fully attached to the cake; wendy had a local person in florida do the baking. wendy, if you're reading, did you assemble, or did the baker?

  5. The baker did all of the attaching with icing...I was too afraid to touch anything cause it was too perfect and I didn't want to mess anything up, lol!
